Anonymous: How do you look to find new locations for your shoots?
I keep a database of locations I see locally that I think would be great for a shoot. I always try to get at least an iPhone shot of the location as a visual reference. For shoots that are not local, I will either take a day before for location scouting and if I’m working with a producer, they will sometimes have the location already set. Other times, you just gotta wing it.
